Are There Any Risks or Side Effects?
There are no risks or side-effects from sound waves and no exposure to radiation in an ultrasound.
During an internal ultrasound some latex may be involved so it is important to let us know if you are allergic.
During endoscopic ultrasounds sore throats and bloating are a possibility but both are temporary.
