Joe Jenkins - Physician Associate

Joe Jenkins is originally from Manchester but moved to Liverpool in 2015 to study Biomedical Science at Liverpool John Moores University. After completing the course, the solitary nature of the work did not provide the fulfilment he yearned for. This led to volunteering at Liverpool Royal Hospital and working as a domiciliary carer throughout his final year of undergraduate studies until graduation from his master's degree. From this experience, he fell in love with care and the impact he could make on someone’s life, realising this was the vocation he wanted to dedicate his life to learning.

Joe then enrolled in the Physician Associate master's degree program at the University of Manchester, finally feeling fulfilled as he could combine his love of learning with working with people. Since then, he has worked in many GP practices across Manchester and Liverpool, eventually settling at Ghosh Medical Group. Here, he hopes to progress his career in the private sector while continuously learning and improving as a medical professional every day.
