Refund and Cancellation Policy

2. Diagnostics and Imaging

Privately Referred Investigations

(MRI, CT, ultrasound, and similar scans)

• Diagnostic scans arranged externally are non-refundable once payment has been made.
• This is due to the administrative and clinical processes involved in securing and managing your referral, including:
• Communication between Ghosh Medical Group clinicians and private hospital radiologists
• Completion of referral documentation, including clinical history and justification
• Forwarding of referrals via secure channels (fax, courier, special delivery)
• Scheduling with consultants under service-level agreements
• Direct payment of fees by Ghosh Medical Group to third-party diagnostic providers
• Post-diagnostic follow-up, interpretation, and treatment planning by our clinical team

3. Laboratory Investigations

Blood Tests, Swabs, Urine/Stool Samples, and Cultures

• Once samples have been collected and paid for, laboratory tests are non-refundable.
• Payment confirms your informed consent for testing, which would have been discussed with a clinician beforehand.
• Samples are immediately sent to our laboratory partners via courier or secure post.
• Reasonable delays in turnaround (up to 5 working days beyond the expected time) do not qualify for refunds.

Expected Turnaround Times:

• Routine blood tests: 3–4 working days (via The Doctors Laboratory or County Pathology)
• DNA testing: Up to 30 calendar days

4. Vaccinations

• Prepaid vaccines and courses are non-refundable.
• Vaccines are ordered specifically for each individual as soon as a decision to begin a schedule is made.
• Refunds will not be issued due to:
• Travel changes or cancellations
• Personal schedule conflicts
• Seeking future doses elsewhere
• Refunds for incomplete courses will only be considered if the decision is made by our clinical team to stop treatment.

5. Prescribed Medication

• Medication (including antibiotics, Growth Hormone, prescriptions)and any other medication that is ordered in especially for patients. is non-refundable once dispensed especially ordered in or collected from the clinic.
• This includes prescriptions issued but not yet filled.

6. Private Medicals

• All private medical examinations (e.g., OEUK, pre-employment, foster medicals, aviation, cabin crew medicals) are non-refundable and must be paid for in advance.
• Missed appointments or late cancellations will require full re-booking and payment.

7. Facial Aesthetics Treatments

Key Terms:

Treatments are non-refundable once administered.

Pre-treatment consultations clearly state there is no guarantee of a specific result, though our patient satisfaction rate exceeds 96%.

A ‘top-up’ for anti-wrinkle injections may be offered at the clinician’s discretion but is not guaranteed.

No top-ups are available for any injectables.

Any concerns about outcomes must be raised within 2 weeks of treatment, at a face-to-face review with the treating clinician must be arranged.

• Beyond this timeframe, we are unable to provide follow-up or correction, as we cannot verify subsequent treatment history.
• We do not review or revise work performed by other providers or clinics.

8. Other Exclusions and Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Missed appointments (no-shows)
• Patient dissatisfaction due to misaligned expectations after a valid consent process
• Situations outside of Ghosh Medical Group’s clinical responsibility (e.g., cancelled travel, changed personal plans, delays from third-party labs or clinics)
• Partial use or discontinuation of treatment by patient choice  
• Carrying out any of Ghosh Medical Group services then deciding that this service wasn’t needed
• Partial use or discontinuation of treatment by patient choice
• Cancelling your appointment with less than 24 hours notice
