Our Lip Filler Aesthetic Procedure
We use hyaluronic acid - a natural substance - for our fillers. Over time, the body will break this down and this is important as it means the approach and finish are not permanent. We can even use a substance to enhance that breakdown if it was ever wished for but this is not something that often occurs.
Lip Injection Service Using Naturally Occurring Substance
The hyaluronic acid can be injected into various areas around the lips:
Vermilion Border - The border between lip and skin
Oral Commissures - Where the upper and lower lip meet
Cupids Bow - Upper lip, adjacent to the central Philtral Comumn (the upper middle section of lip)
Philtrum - The groove between nose and upper lip
Because the hyaluronic acid breaks down over time, occasionally clients do need to return for further work but this is more commonly an annual approach.
Lip Filler Anaesthetic
In a similar way to a dental treatment, the lip filler procedure uses an anaesthetic so that the area is numbed and you don’t feel discomfort while the procedure is taking place.
