Hydration of the skin is important in maintaining healthy skin tone, elasticity and a smooth youthful appearance. The component of our skin that aids in this hydration is Hyaluronic acid. Unfortunately during the ageing process this diminishes, which leaves our skin looking dull and wrinkled and the feeling of tightness and rough to touch. We can easily add hydration superficially with the application of creams which temporarily moisturise the surface of the skin, but they cannot penetrate deep enough into the skin to hydrate nor can they maintain the deep hydration which is needed to retain its natural elasticity and healthy glow.

Treatment with Juvéderm® HYDRATE is a subtle enhancement, rather than a radical change. Results typically are long-lasting but initially some patients may require a course of treatment in the first year. This will be discussed in your consultation.

After Treatment / Aftercare Information

Following treatment there may be some redness and localised swelling present and slight bruising to the area that has been injected. These side effects will not last and can easily be covered up with your usual makeup.
