Dr Arun Ghosh, the resident doctor on the Jeremy Kyle Show and a medical expert on BBC Breakfast and ITV, will be providing general practice services at the new clinic on Three Tuns Lane.
Merseyside born and bred, Dr Arun Ghosh qualified in 2003 and began as a junior doctor at Arrowe Park Hospital on the Wirral before deciding on a career in General Practice. He underwent his vocational training at Whiston Hospital, finished his GP registrar year in St Helens, and has since worked in a number of GP practices and services.
The recently opened Spire Formby clinic offers consultations and follow up outpatient appointments for general medicine and a range of specialties including cosmetic surgery, orthopaedics, ENT and general surgery.
Dr Ghosh said: “I'm very excited to be joining the team at Spire Formby clinic. Throughout my career I've built up a diverse range of experience around the Liverpool area, including A&E, obstetrics, paediatrics, sexual health, surgery and general medicine. The new Spire Formby clinic provides a variety of care to local residents from GP services to specialist surgery and treatments, and so really allows me to utilise my skills.”
Spire Hospital Group is one of the UK’s biggest private healthcare providers, and the Formby clinic allows local people much easier access to the range of treatments on offer.
